过去进行时

• 用法
  • 过去某时刻，过去某时段正在进行的动作
    • I was walking the dog at 9 o'clock yesterday.
    • I was chating with my mother from seven to nine last night.
• 构成
  • was/were doing
    • 肯定句
      • 主语 + was/were + doing ...
    • 否定句
      • 主语 + was/were not + doing ...
    • 疑问句
      • Was/Were + 主语 + doing ...?
        • 肯定回答
          • Yes, 主语 + was/were.
        • 否定回答
          • No, 主语 + was/were not.
• 现在分词变化规则
  • 现分变化有4般，动词后加ing, 词尾若有哑巴e, 去e再加ing, 若遇重读辅元辅，切记双写尾字母， 还有一点要小心，ie变y再加ing.
  • 直：一般情况+ing
    • doing, watching
  • 去：去哑巴e + ing
    • coming, writing
  • 双：重读辅元辅：双写尾字母 +ing
    • stopping, running, sitting
  • 改：ie 变y + ing
    • lie-lying, die-dying, tie-tying
• 时间标志词
  • then, at that time, at this time yesterday, at ... yesterday ... ,
  • from seven to nine last night, the whole morning, ...
  • When While
    • when后可长可短， while之后只可长； 若是两个都为长， while来把纽带当。
    • 一般过去式：短动作；过去进行时：长动作。
    • When the plane arrived, the two men were waiting at the airport. The plane arrived when the two men were waiting at the airport. The plane arrived while the two men were waiting at the airport.
