  • 1. 寒暄Greeting： Good morning boys and girls. How are you today? Nice, I'm happy to hear that. Let's start our English class.

  • 【活动3---阅读技巧点拨】 But before reading, I'd like to share some reading tips for you. There are two important skills in reading. The first one is skimming. We skim a text when we want to get a general idea of what it is about. We often look at the titles, the first and last sentences of paragraphs to guess what the text is about. And the second one is scanning. When we want to find certain information in a text quickly, we scan the text for keywords. We do not need to read the whole text word by word or sentence by sentence. Got it? Great!
