part 4: use different tenses
Present tense
I paint.
I recently took up painting.
I am new to in.
Simple past tense
I started painting a couple of years ago.
I decided to have a go at painting.
to have a go at sth. = to try sth. new.
I decided to try my hand at paingting.
to try my hand at sth.= to try sth. new
Present perfect continuous tense
I've been playing football for as long as I can remember.
I've been playing football for donkey's years.
for donkey's years = for a long time
part 5: the benefits of hobbies - to relax / stay healthy / socialise
