  • 规则变化
    • 单音节词
      • 一般单音节词末尾加 er, est
      • 以不发音的e结尾的单音节词和少数以e结尾的双音节词只加r,st
      • 以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节单音节词，双写结尾的辅音字母，再加er,est
      • 以辅音字母+y结尾的双音节词，把y变i，再加er,est

      • 少数以er,ow结尾的双音节词末尾加而er，est
      • 其他双音节词一般在形容词原型前加more，most
    • 多音节词
      • 在形容词前加more，most构成比较级和最高级

• 形容词比较级和最高级的用法
  • 形容词比较级用法
    • 表示两者之间的比较，句型：adj比较级+than 例如：He is more careful than me.（他比我细心）
      • 此结构形容词比较级可用much、even、still、a little、a bit、any、a lot来修饰，以加强语气。 例如：He is much careful than me.（他比我细心多了）
      • 该结构中避免词语的重复使用，往往用代词that、those、one、ones等代替比较的对象。 例如：The weather in Beijing is colder than that in Hainan.
    • 句型：not+adj比较级+than-----A不如B
    • 句型：no+比较级+than------AB都不
    • 表示程度加深，句型：adj比较级+and+adj比较级（越来越……） 例如：The day gets longer and longer.
    • "the+adj比较级，the+adj比较级"，表示“越……，越……” 例如：The more you eat，the fatter you will be.
    • "主语+系动词+the+adj比较级+of……"“两者中较……” 例如：she is the taller of two girls.

    • 两者比较，表示同样的程度，句型：“as+原级+as”（和……一样） 例如：He is as clever as me.
    • 两者比较，表示一方不如另一方，句型：“not so/as+原级+as”（不如……那样） 例如：He is not as careful as me.

    • 表示三者或三者以上的事物之间进行比较用最高级，句型：the+adj最高级+of（in）……（最……）例如：Li Lei si the youngest of his family.
    • "one of+the+adj最高级+名词复数"，表示“最……之一”， 例如：Lin Tao is one of the best students in our class.
    • "the+序数词+最高级+名词单数"表示“第几……”， 例如：The Yellow River is the second best river in our country.
    • 最高级前有物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格修饰时，最高级前不加the；若两个最高级连用，后一个最高级之前也省略the.
    • Which/Who is +the+最高级指“三个以上的人或事物中哪一个最……” 例如：Who is the shortest in your class?
    • "adj比较级+than any other +可数名词单数"，用比较级的形式表示最高级的意义。例如：He is better than any other student in our class.

• 形容词的位置
  • 形容词作定语，通常放在他所修饰的名词之前，形容词前面常带有冠词、形容词性物主代词、指示代词、数词等。
  • 形容词修饰不定代词时，要放在不定代词的后面。
