  • The novel is mainly about a business man named Scrooge who is extremely cold, selfish, heartless, mean and lonely totally changed himself, was kind to others and lived happily after he looked back his past as well as his future as a stand-by, which was helped by three different ghosts.
• Beginning
  • On Christmas Eve, Scrooge refused his nephew's invitation of having a wonderful super and celebrating Christmas' Day and he allowed his employer Bod went back home spending good time instead of working. After Scrooge reached his house, he was informed three different spirits would come to visit him at different time by Jacob Marley's ghost.

            • Scrooge saw himself again and he was sitting beside a lovely young girl. This time Scrooge broke his promise that he would marry the girl a long time ago as well as didn't choose her but money.

              • He was beginning to show an unhealthy interest in money and he cried again with great painness. Consequently, he didn't wish to see any more.

  • Finally, Scrooge changed himself and changed his life. He smiled at others and helped many people as well as got on well with his clerk called Bob. He kept Christmas cheerfully and lived a happy life.
