    • 说明人或物的特征、性质或状态，常用来修饰名词或代词的词，意为“...的”

      • 一般直接词尾加er,young-younger
      • 以不发音e结尾的加r,wide-wider
      • 重读闭音节词，双写尾字母+er,big-bigger
      • 辅音字母+y结尾的，把y变i加er,heavy-heavier
      • 部分双音节词或多音节词，在形容词前加more，important-more important
      • 不规则，如good-better,bad-worse,far-farther/further

      • A+is+形容词比较级+than+B
        • He is taller than me.
      • 表示程度的副词a little,a bit,a lot, much, far, even等修饰时其后跟形容词比较级
        • It is much colder than here.
      • 表示两者之间选择“哪一个更...”

      • 表示“是...的几倍”时，用“倍数+比较级+than”

      • 表示“最...的...之一”时，用“one of+the+形容词最高级+可数名词复数”结构，Jay Chou is one of the most popular singers.
      • 形容词最高级前面可以加序数词，表示“第几最...”，The second longest river in China is the Yellow River.
      • 形容词最高级前面可以有形容词性物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格等修饰，此时不能用冠词，This is our best lesson today.
      • 形容词比较级结构也可以表示最高级，Li Lei is the tallest student in his class=Li Lei is taller than any other student in his class.
