This Law is formulated in accordance with the Research Law and the Education Law for the purpose of protecting the right of school-age children and adolescents to receive compulsory education and ensuring that the implementation of compulsory education improves the quality of the whole nation. The state implements nine-year compulsory education, which is a compulsory education for all school-age children and adolescents and a public welfare undertaking that must be guaranteed by the state. Education is compulsory and tuition and miscellaneous fees are not charged.
