at, on和in
at
主要表示在某一具体时刻,如:at seven o'clock
也可用在固定短语中,如:at noon, at night, at that time, at the age of, at the moment, at first, at last, at once, at the beginning of, at the end of, at the same time等。
on
用来表示在具体的某一天(的上午、下午或晚上),如:on Monday, on Monday first, on Children’s day, on the morning of January first, on Thursday afternoon等。
in
用来表示在某年、某月、或某季节,如:in 1998, in spring
也可表示在一段时间后,如:in two hours, in a few days
注意:在纯粹表示上午、下午或晚上时,用 in the morning/afternoon/evening;
但表示在某一天的上午、下午或晚上时要用介词 on, 如:on Monday morning, on the morning of Children's day
since和for
for后跟时间段,如:I have lived here for 20 years.
since后接时间点,如:I have lived here since 1982.
before和by
都可表示 “ 在……之前 ” ,但by含有 “ 不迟于 ……” “到……为止 ” 的意思
from…to…
从… 到… , 如:His father goes to work from Monday to Friday.
until和till
直到;直到 … 才,如:His father worked until/till 11 next night.
His father didn't stop working until 11 next night.

在… 期间,如:He stays there during the summer.

through、 past和across

Mary walked across the street to do some shopping.(强调从一边到另一边)
over和above
都表示 “ 在… 的上面 ”
over表示 “ 正上方 ” , 如:There is a bridge over the river.
