• Allow
  • 不要使用双重被动allowed
    • be allowed to be done(×)
• Award
  • award:将某物奖励给某人，被某人授予某物(被动语态中可以不带宾语)
    • He was awarded a medal (by the authorities)(√)
    • The authorities awarded a medal (to him)(√)
  • reward:把某个东西给某人
    • The teacher rewarded the boy(√)
• Criticise
  • criticise sth/sb
    • The manager criticised the team(√)
  • criticise sth/sb because sth
    • The manager criticised the team because they had done a poor job.(√)
  • criticise sb for doing/not doing sth
    • The manager criticised the team for doing a poor job(√)
  • criticist + 指示词that
    • If you criticise that girl she gest very upset(√)
• Hope
  • hope + 宾语从句
    • I hope my friends can come to diner(√)
  • hope + that
    • I hope that my friends can come to diner(√)
  • hope + 不定式带直接宾语
    • I hope to invite my friends (√)
  • hope + 不定式带直接或间接宾语
    • I hope to invite my friends for diner (√)
  • 不能跟一个直接宾语后再跟不定式
    • I hope my friends to come to diner (×)
