  • 后面不能跟不定式

  • advise + 动名词

  • 将名词作为动名词来使用

• Announce
  • 后面不能跟不定式
    • Beijing announced to open a new metro line(×)
  • 后面必须跟直接宾语，即名词结构或that分句
    • Beijing announced the opening of a new metro line(√)
    • Beijing announced that it will open a new metro line(√)
• Approve(同意、应允）
  • 后面不能跟不定式、动名词、that引导的从句
    • Beijing has approved (to build/building/that sb should build) a new metro line.(×)
  • 后面跟名词
    • Beijing has approved the building of a new metro line...(√)
  • give your approval to sb to do sth/give your approval to sb for sth
• Ensure
  • 后面不能跟不定式或直接宾语+不定式
    • The restaurant ensures to give diners a warm welcome(×)
    • The restaurant ensures diners to receive a warm welcome(×)
  • 后面跟that引导的从句
    • The restaurant ensures that diners are given a warm welcome(√)
  • 后面跟直接宾语
    • The new restaurant ensures a warm welcome for diners(√)
• Order
  • order sth
    • The emperor ordered (the building of) a palace(√)
  • order sb to do sth
    • The emperor ordered the city to build a palace(√)
  • order sth to be done
    • The emperor ordered a palace to be built(√)
  • order that sth be done(虚拟语气)
    • The emperor ordered that a palace be built(√)
  • be ordered to do sth(被动语态)
