Mr. Lockwood visited Wuthering Heights twice, and lots of unbelivable and scary things happened. After going back home, Mr. Lockwood asked Nelly Dean--the servant--to tell him something about Mr.Heathcliff, the owner of Wuthering Heights.
Heathcliff was adopted by old Mr. Earnshaw when he was young. Heathcliff and Catherine became close friends, but he was always persecuted by Hindley.
After old Earnshaw died, Hindley drove Heathcliff away and Catherine married Edgar Linton. Then Heathcliff began to revenge the Earnshaws and the Lintons.
Heathcliff married Isabella Linton but he treated her badly. He forced Catherine's daughter to marry his son Linton Heathcliff. But soon Linton died. Heathcliff let Cathy and Hindley's son Hareton to be his servant and treated them coldly.
At last, Heathcliff died, and Cathy, Hareton and Nelly lived happily in Wuthering Heights.
