Then guide students to read them after teachers. ②Ask students to find the similarity between these words and tell them that we often add the letter “y” to the nuns, such as sun, cloud, forming the words and describing weather. ③ Show students some pictures about weather and ask students to finish matching work. ④Invite students to listen to the tape and then ask students to ask and answer different weather in these cities with the following sentence pattern: How is the weather in Shanghai? It is cloudy.

Ask students to choose one place and make a conversation to talk about the weather with their partners on the phone. A sample conversation will be given as follows. A: Hi!
