状语从句

• 时间
  • when , while, as
    • when引导持续性，短暂性，主从同时发生，从句先于主句。
      • when the film ended,the people went back,短暂性。从句先于主句
    • when 有表示，这时突然。while有 却，而。
      • we were about to start when it began to rain./he likes coffee,while she likes tea
    • while引导延续性，表状态，强调动作同时性
      • they rushed in while we were discussing problems
    • as表示同时发生。一边。。一边。。
      • as she sang, the tears ran dowm her face
  • befor,after
    • befor,在。。之前。
      • long befor 很久之前/ before long 不久，很快
  • untill/still
  • 一..就..
    • no sooner ..than..
    • hardly..when/before
      • he had hardly got to the station when/befor the train left.他一到车站火车就开走了
    • as soon as
      • he will give you a call as soon as he arrives.
• 让步
  • although(句首）/though（句首，句中）,
    • 虽然，although不用倒装
  • even though,even if
    • 即使，即便
  • as引导让步状语从句，as一般放在主句之前，用倒装语序。表语/状语/动词原形+as+主语
    • child as he is ,he knows a lot/ try as he might,he could not find a job.
  • 疑问词+ever，no matter+疑问词，whether..or
    • 不管，不论
    • whatever=no matter what/however=no matter how
  • however+主语+谓语
    • however you travel,it will take you at least therr days.不管你怎么走，至少要三天
  • however+adj/adv+主语+谓语
    • however much he eats,he necer gets fat.不论吃多少他都不会胖。
  • however = no matter how
  • while，虽然，要放句首
    • while volleyball is her main focus she is also great at football
• 原因
  • because,as,since/now that(既然）,seeing that,considering that
    • 后面加从句
  • because of ,thank to ,due to,owing to ,
    • 后面必须加名词结构，because of the weather.
• 目的
  • in order that（可在主语前后） ,so that(主句之后）
    • 以便，，为了，，表示肯定
  • for fear that, in case ,lest,
    • 以防，以免，带有否定意义=so that...not..
• 结果
  • such+名词..that..
    • jay is such a clever boy that we all like him.
  • so+形容词..that..
    • jay is so clever a boy that we all like him
  • too..to../enough to ../so ..as to
• 条件
  • if/unless(除非）/once（一旦）/so（as）long as（只要），in case（万一），only if （仅当）。if only （要是..该多好）
    • If it rains tomorrow ,i will not go to the park,（主将从现）
• 比较
  • than ,so(as) ..as, the more ..the more..
    • the busier he is ,the happier he feels.
  • 倍数词必须放在as..as,比较级，the+名词之前。
    • he eat twice as much protein as he actually need every day
• 地点
  • where，wherever=no matter where
