• 什么是状语
  • 定义：表示状态或者程度的语言
  • 修饰形容词，副词，动词（指实义动词）甚至整个句子——（除名词外都能修饰）
• 什么可以做状语 （状语的地点灵活：句首、句中、句末。放在句首的话，后面通常用逗号隔开。）
  • 单词做状语
    • 做状语的单词通常是副词——副词修饰形容词，副词，动词或者整个句子
      • Tiechui worked hard.（副词hard修饰实义动词work）
      • Tiechui's painting is really awesome.（副词really修饰形容词awesome)
      • Tiechui did this job very well(副词very修饰副词well)
      • Unfortunately,Tiechui failed the English exam.(副词Unfortunately修饰句子）
  • 短语做状语
    • 介词短语
      • 表示时间：We often have breakfast at 7:00 am.(介词+时间的短语放在名词后，并不一定是定语）
      • 表示地点：Students all sit in the middle of the room.(与表示时间的一致）
      • 表示原因
        • 状语的地点十分灵活：句首、句中、句末。
        • 常用介词：因为，由于—— because of due to owing to on accountof thanks to as a result of...
          • 在这里需要注意的一点是： 在这批表示“因为“的介词短语中 due to通常放在句末，不放在句首 而owing to通常放在句首，不放在句末 其他的短语位置则可前可后。
      • 表示方式
        • 用来表达主语完成某个动作或某个状态时使用的方式
        • 常用介词
          • 通过——through via by
          • 以...方式——in...manner in...way in...method in...fashion
      • 表示让步
        • 常见介词
          • 虽然，尽管——in spite of despite for all
          • 无论——regardless of
      • 表示伴随
        • 指的是状语的动作伴随主句发生
        • 常用介词：with
          • He stood there,with his hand raise.
    • To do不定式:一般做目的状语
    • 分词短语：
      • 两类
        • 过去分词
        • 现在分词
      • 两个结构
        • 分词短语+主句，多表原因。 Having worked in this school for many years,he knows it very well.
        • 主句+分词短语，多表结果 He stuided hard,thus getting high marks.
  • 从句做状语
    • 从句来做状语就是状语从句
• 状语从句细讲
  • 构成
    • 公式一：引导词（连词）+状语从句+"，"+主句 （状语从句放在主句前，后面通常加逗号）
    • 公式二：主句+引导词（连词）+状语从句 （状语从句放在主句后，可以加逗号，也可以不加逗号）
  • 引导词（按照引导词本身的意思来分类）共九类
    • 时间，地点，原因，目的，结果，让步，条件，方式和比较
  • 时态
    • 当主句谓语为过去时，从句谓语使用相应的过去时态
    • 当主句谓语为将来时，从句谓语使用一般现在时，用“现在”表示“将来”。 （主将从现）
• 状语考点分析—状语从句
  • 原因状语从句
    • 常用引导词（连词）：because ,since ,as,for
    • 特殊引导词：in that, considering that, given that, seeing that, now that
    • 前面学习的表示原因的介词，后面只能跟名词（短语），不能跟从句：becuase of, due to, for the sake of, owing to, thanks to, as a result of......
    • 例句：I can't get to sleep because it's noisy outside.(Because引导的原因状语从句）=i can't get to sleep because of the noise outside.(Because of后加短语）
  • 让步状语从句（经典表达）
    • 常用引导词（连词）：although, though, even if, even though, as, while
    • 特殊引导词：no matter...(无论...），in spite of the fact that(虽然，尽管）， whatever, whoever, wherever,whenever,however,whichever......
    • 在用让步状语从句来说，可以前面说一个好的，后面说一个不好的，这样可以把句子拉长。
      • 上网会影响青少年的工作和学习 ——Surfing on the internet exerts great influence on the study and work of teenagers and youngsters,although it definitely makes our daily life more convenient.
  • 条件状语从句(经常会和虚拟语气使用）
    • 常见引导词（连词）：if, unless, as/so long as(只要）， only if(只要）...
    • 特殊引导词：providing/provided that(假如）， supposing(that)(假如）， in case that(以防）， on condition that(如果）......
  • 比较状语从句
    • 常用引导词（连词）：as, than
    • 特殊引导词：the more...the more..., more than, more...than..., not so much...as...
      • 易混淆的词组
        • the more...the more... the+形容词/副词的比较级+句子，the+形容词/副词的比较级+句子 时态多用主将从现 注意形容词和副词的选择问题——如果分句的谓语是实义动词，用副词来修饰。如果分句的谓语是系动词，就用形容词。
          • 举例：用脑越多，思维越活跃 The more you use your brain,the more active your mind will be. 此处的more，不是句子结构中的more,而是多的比较级
          • 举例：你爬得越高，就看得越远 The higher one climbs,the farther he will see. you在文体中不正是，一般都用one.但是如果在阅读中看见了one，最好不要翻译成一个人，翻译成：你。
          • 在对其进行缩写时 满足“主语+谓语+the+比较级”，可以把句子的主语和动词省略 The harder,The luckier.—You are the harder,you are the luckier.
    • 举例：如今人的寿命要比以前的长。—Nowadays people live longer than (people lived/did) in the past.(省略了从句的一个比较状语）
