    • It was+一段时间+before+时间状从 "过了...才... " e.g.It was 5 years before we cooperated again.
    • It won't be long/一段时间 before +时间状从（谓语用现在时）"用不了多久就..." e.g.It won't be 3 years before I see you.
    • It is/has been+一段时间+since+过去的时间点 “自从...以来有多长时间了” e.g.It is 10 years since he left his hometown.
    • Once+时间状从，主句. “一旦..." e.g.Once he realizes what happened,he won't let you go easily.
• 原因状从

    • e.g.Since he has nothing to do with the matter,you have no need to discuss with him.
    • e.g.Jim didn't come to the party as he was sick.
  • 由短语引导
    • Considering that (考虑到）he is too young,you shouldn't have criticized him like that.
    • Now that(既然） you had agreed,you should have kept your words.
    • I'm in fond of classical in that（因为；只能放句中） it can relax me.
    • Seeing that（有鉴于） he knows nothing about the matter,you shouldn't have discussed with him.
